To start off,
Summer Night Town is Morning Musume's second single (not including the
song to get them a singing deal Ai no Tane). I don't know about how many
people have watched the PV but I was completely clueless what to expect
since I had never heard this song or seen the PV for it. But overall my
first time listening to it, I thought to myself "when is it going to
slow down like Morning Coffe?! It's a really upbeat song and I really
enjoyed it. The dancing seemed sort of awkward since they didn't really
have enough time to practice the dancing so they seemed sort of
stiff....actually REALLY stiff but they managed to do their best and
that's really all that matters when it comes to these PVs and also
having fun...but let's save that for their recent single shall we? The
PV is actually really fun to watch. I really thought that it was going
to be terrible judging by the title "Summer Night Town" yet I guess I
thought wrong. And I'm actually glad that I'm wrong I really do enjoy
Morning Musume and this was a really good learning experience. :) Next
up is "Daite Hold on Me!"
Final Rating of PV: 4 Getting better! Keep it up girls!!!
Final Rating of Song: 3.5 - I really liked the PV better than the song.
The song itself was okay, yet the vocals didn't really fit.
Fixes if you were Tsunku? Give the girls more time to learn to dance.
Opinion
on the meaning behind the song? I absolutely love it although I haven't
been in a situation with someone that I love as "more than a friend"
since I never really have had a boyfriend/girlfriend.
