Ai Takahashi's Song "HAPPY!いっぷくまる" Now Available On Japanese Itunes!

Yes, you heard me right. Ai Takahashi has a new single out on Itunes called "HAPPY!いっぷくまる". At first I thought it was going to sound like more like a unique cute song but it turns out that it sort of reminds me of Jishin Motte... A LOT. Like twins or two peas in a pod. This song (judging by the preview) is sort of a pop-rock-ish song of sorts. It's been a little while since we heard from Ai but now this month is where it all starts to change...I mean her getting roles as characters in pretty popular Japanese films and now a single on Itunes! This is really exciting to see since Ai-chan was my 2nd favorite member EVER to join Morning Musume. Hopefully we'll see more singles arrive!

The wait is finally over~! Risa's new & last PV "Egao ni Namida ~THANK YOU! DEAR MY FRIENDS" has been released! Please watch before it is taken down by UP-FRONT Agency. At first I was so happy watching it, and then got sad thinking to myself, "wow she's really leaving...isn't she?" Of course I know this but it just seems to be that I can't believe that my 2nd favorite of 3 years is going away and (maybe) pursue an acting career. I do hope that she continues singing...maybe something like Ai Kago singing jazz, ne? She really deserves to do SOMETHING with her life though. I mean come on, 10 years of being bossed to sing what they want her to sing, dance to what they want her to dance and of course the agony that she had to endure with putting up with everything in the group and being judged to be precise. Overall she deserves to do whatever she pleases with her life from now on and I hope the best for her. OKAY so now onto the PV itself....the PV in my opinion is kind of like Ai Takahashi's last song. I know that her song was original and Risa's was just a cover (of her choice too I believe) but I don't mean the SONG I mean the pictures in the PV of her just starting out and then going up from there. Her looking at them and mimicking the dances made me so happy because it's like her way of showing us that she enjoyed every moment of being in the group and something sort of like "those were the good days" kind of feeling. At the ending it made me SO freaking happy because she wrote the English part of the title down in pink marker it's like saying "thanks for the memories, thanks for the good times, thanks SO much for supporting me these 10 years" and stuff like that. This PV is a must see to Gaki/Risa fans who are sad about her leaving. Maybe, just maybe it'll cheer you up if not that then at least watch it to remember the good times that we've all had watching Risa perform on stage and how much she means to all of us. She knows what we all want....we all want her to stay but in reality, she can't stay until she's a granny! (did I cheer you up a little? :))

Morning Musume "Summer Night Town" PV Review

To start off, Summer Night Town is Morning Musume's second single (not including the song to get them a singing deal Ai no Tane). I don't know about how many people have watched the PV but I was completely clueless what to expect since I had never heard this song or seen the PV for it. But overall my first time listening to it, I thought to myself "when is it going to slow down like Morning Coffe?! It's a really upbeat song and I really enjoyed it. The dancing seemed sort of awkward since they didn't really have enough time to practice the dancing so they seemed sort of stiff....actually REALLY stiff but they managed to do their best and that's really all that matters when it comes to these PVs and also having fun...but let's save that for their recent single shall we? The PV is actually really fun to watch. I really thought that it was going to be terrible judging by the title "Summer Night Town" yet I guess I thought wrong. And I'm actually glad that I'm wrong I really do enjoy Morning Musume and this was a really good learning experience. :) Next up is "Daite Hold on Me!"

Final Rating of PV: 4 Getting better! Keep it up girls!!!
Final Rating of Song: 3.5 - I really liked the PV better than the song. The song itself was okay, yet the vocals didn't really fit.

Fixes if you were Tsunku? Give the girls more time to learn to dance.

Opinion on the meaning behind the song? I absolutely love it although I haven't been in a situation with someone that I love as "more than a friend" since I never really have had a boyfriend/girlfriend.

Morning Musume "Morning Coffee" PV Review

The pv starts off with all 5 girls in a fuzzy view and sing "whoo!" a part that always makes me shiver for some reason no matter how many times in a row I listen to it. It switches to a clear view revealing Asuka Fukuda, Aya Ishiguro, Natsumi Abe, Yuko Nakazawa & Kaori Iida. It then shows each girl up-close, singing, and smiling at the camera....seems pretty calming so far ne? Well as everyone notices up until now, we have no lead vocalist as in every Morning Musume single so far yes? Well, that's all about to change! In this single it's Kaori! I was actually expecting maybe Yuko since she has a much..."older" voice to her....hasn't aged a bit I might add. Also, has anyone noticed that the camera is all over Kaoi most of the time in this PV? ANYWAY next in the pv we see Kaori singing, the camera flipping (poet and don't even know it :D) back and forth to the other members singing (though Kaori is the main focus). It then shows the girls, one in a bed, two on the street and three just standing there (I say one two three because I don't know which is which other than the three obvious ones). It then shows Natsumi and Kaori singing and standing next to each other while looking rather ravishing if I do say so myself. It shows them up-close and then switching to all 5 members standing, singing and staring at the camera. Then it starts to show the girls....AGAIN SINGING AND SMILING!!! Isn't this exciting?!?! It also shows Nacchi and Kaori singing next to each other AGAIN and singing beautifully together. It then shows all the girls in nightgowns. Once again focusing mostly on Kaori. After a few minutes of things I already explained it shows Nacchi up-close having a rather depressing face then starting to sing again. 4:03 in the video now and all the girls are sitting down singing and to be honest, this is my favorite scene in the whole video. It's so nostalgic!!! After a couple seconds of singing the girls stop and have one last final stare at the camera and....BAM!!! Done, over. :D

Final Rating of PV: 2 Very boring and not appealing at all. Though it's just begun yes?
Final Rating of Song: 3.5 - As much as this song is nostalgic and calming it just doesn't have that special oomph that the other Morning Musume songs have.
Fixes if you were Tsunku? Yes, I would give Kaori less screen-time and more on the other 4.
Opinion on the meaning behind the song? It's pretty basic and not so interesting so no.

You Ain't Nothin' But A NYANYANYAN

Okay so I am a HUGE fan of making things out of clay so I decided since my dad loves Elvis and my brother likes Nyan Cat to make a little post dedicated to both them and the figurines that I made for them!

 First up is Elvis!

 Okay so, as I said before this is dedicated after my dad. It is a picture of Elvis singing live on stage with a microphone, glossy outfit and a platform to boot! Don't know what he is singing in this picture but whatever it is, it most be a hit! :) On the other hand I DO NOT like Elvis...at all to be exact but that doesn't mean that other people should dislike him! You like who you like. This figurine is for all those houndogs out there that have them blue shoes. ;)

Next up is Nyan Cat!

This one is actually my favorite clay figurine that I have made tbh. I made this for my brother who is a HUGE meme lover and I just HAD to make it after him! It comes with all of his features including his feet, tail, ears, eyes, mouth, poptart and a cute little rainbow that is missing purple!

Aika Mitsui Graduation

 Hello!SayuNii Post

Sometime today, Aika Mitsui (I believe someone had announced that she had said it during a concert of some sort??) had announced that she would be graduating Morning Musume, but remain under Hello! Project Agency.

Me:....WHAAAT NUUUUUU?!?!?!?!? Okay, now that it's all out people have guessed and guessed on YouTube that if she did not recover soon that she would be leaving...and...well, they were partially right. She is leaving because of her foot condition BUT she had said that it was fully recovered and was quite troubled when she found out that it could reoccur. She had ALSO talked it over with her mother about her future life ahead of her and came to the decision to graduate. I am very shocked that another member is graduating at the same time...I mean other than Ai Kago and Nozomi Tsuji concert and Junjun/Eri Kamei/Linlin concert that is unheard of! But all I can say is if it's for the best then it should happen. A lot of the Hello! Project artists come out of the agency to follow their dreams and if it were meant to be then let it. Don't just flip out of nowhere like I did at the beginning of this paragraph and go all crazy just because she left to tend to her foot. Think about how she feels and how much pain she could be in because of her foot and she knows what this means to her fans, she wants us to keep supporting her no matter what and THAT is what I shall do. Also this is very sad because of the fact that she had almost no lines whatsoever, is one of the most unappreciated member of Morning Musume I mean...the Kyuukie members have practically more fans than her! I had high expectations for her when she was supposed to become leader. A unappreciated member as leader would be pretty cool, neh? Leading the other girls was probably something that she was excited to do but...oh well. Her health is WAY too important now and forever. We will miss you Aika but don't forget that you have a very proud to be wota looking over you and supporting you always! >:s - April

 

Introduction~!

Hello everybody~! April here. I just wanted to make a quick little section on who I am and what you can expect on my blog so happy reading! :D

Intro

My name is April, I'm currently 15 years old and reside in Maryland, United States with my brother Aaron, my  mom Joanna, and my dad William....OH and the love of my life, my dog Boo-Boo. I am currently 5'8 and still growing! I love the color combo pink/purple and black. My favorite number is 55 and my favorite type of animal is dogs (more descriptive as a Bichon Frise). I LOVE the genre J-pop and you shall see that I talk a lot about one idol group in particular, Morning Musume which is another love of my life...without Morning Musume in my life I am NOTHING....okay back on track I also love other genres such as J-rock, K-pop, some mainstream American pop and that's basically all there is about me if you have any questions please feel free to ask! I love talking about myself as you can see....and using too many exclamation points!
